My own Catholic education inspired me to become a teacher. Growing up in Onalaska, I attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and Aquinas High School. The wonderful educational experience I received instilled in me a love of learning as well as an excitement to share my enthusiasm and high sense of Christian values with my students.

COURSES
Three areas of study: United States history, Africa, and Southwest and Central Asia incorporate geography skills and knowledge of economic/political systems and behavioral/social issues. History of the United States from 1820 to 1870 includes sectionalism, a simulation of the Civil War, and Reconstruction. The physical geography, history, and cultures of Africa and Southwest and Central Asia are studied. Integrated experiences with technology include use of the internet, Power Point, and Google. Seventh Grade Religion builds on the doctrine taught in earlier grades with an emphasis on revelation, grace, and moral life. Students are taught that living the Ten Commandments, practicing the virtues, and receiving the sacraments will help them live the life to which Christ calls them.
