Ms. Andersen attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls to receive her degrees in music education. She continues to perform on both clarinet and piano with the La Crosse Concert Band, La Crosse Wind Symphony, as accompanist for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church, and for various soloists and groups. When not actively involved making music, she enjoys riding her bike, reading, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her adult sons Wyatt (a research scientist) and Dakota (also a musician and music educator).
