I love teaching Spanish! I also love reading, singing, going to concerts, musicals and plays. I have a wonderful husband and three sons. As a family we enjoy being outdoors-boating, biking, hiking and spending time with our extended family. When I graduated from college, I spent a year teaching English at Colegio Americano in Puebla, Mexico. When I returned from Puebla, I spent two years teaching Spanish at Saint John's Preparatory School in Collegeville, Minnesota. After I left the Prep School, I spent two years teaching Spanish to preschoolers in the Twin Cities at Step By Step Montessori. We moved to La Crosse in 2000 and I started teaching at Aquinas Catholic Schools in 2003.

MY CLASSROOM
Spanish class can be a noisy place! Communication is the ultimate goal in the World Language classroom. We work hard and have a lot of fun learning to read, write, and speak Spanish and about Spanish-speaking countries' cultures.

OTHER INFO
My two sons, who have recently graduated from Aquinas, have been very well prepared for their college courses! We are thankful for all the teachers who have impacted our boys over the last 20 years-from MMOC-ECC, to Cathedral School to Blessed Sacrament to Aquinas Middle School to AHS. It has been a great experience for our family.
