I grew up being a sportsman. I was active in 3 sports through high school. I was active in becoming a quality P.E. teacher in college at UW-La Crosse. I worked to build skills in adventure education and outdoor pursuits while teaching and going to school. I have a wonderful wife who I spend time with doing the things we love. We enjoy being outdoors, biking, camping, sitting fireside, and sporting whenever we get the chance. We enjoy finding a nice place to eat with a view to spend time together and share a meal. We take time to spend with our families and will be doing more of that in the coming future. My mom and dad are retired and are looking forward to having their first grandchild in Oct. '24. My sister and her husband enjoy many of the things we do and we will be seeing them and our new nephew more often. I personally enjoy being in nature hunting, playing guitar, coaching sports, and being active. Feel free to reach out to make a connection or discuss your own life excitement. Thank you for your support in my classroom. I have felt a huge amount of appreciation from parents, students, and fellow teachers.

MY CLASSROOM
In my classroom, students work to learn physical skills through games and sports in an environment of safety where attempts to try again are fundamental. Expectations for trust and cooperation are constantly in practice. Movement is extremely important for elementary students and so is practicing respect, responsibility, and safety. These values are threaded through each class whether we are gaining experience in throwing, basic balances, or battling for the goal in floor hockey. This classroom helps students develop physical skills, social skills, self-regulation skills, confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
