  • Aquinas High School has access to the Holy Cross Diocesan Center football and baseball practice facilities as well as Veteran's Memorial Field on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus.

 

The Aquinas High School colors are Blue and Gold. The school song is The Rouser, specifically written for Aquinas High School by Father John Pinion, the early band instructor at Aquinas High School. Aquinas does not have a school mascot, per se, but students at Aquinas are known as the Blugolds. Alumni and students are also known as Aquinites.

 

The average class size at Aquinas is approximately 20-22 students per class section.

 

The Student Services Department of Aquinas High School consists of a Director of Campus Ministry, Dean of Students, two guidance counselors, and a Learning Styles Specialist with a paraprofessional.

 

The curriculum at Aquinas is a college prep curriculum featuring honors courses at the Junior and Senior levels. College credit is offered through Viterbo University in La Crosse and Saint Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota.

 

Aquinas High School offers a nationally recognized student service organization (IMPACT) which is lead by students. This service group donates thousands of hours each year to the Greater La Crosse Area.

  • 26 credits of course work are required for graduation.

  • 23 of the 26 credits are from required courses.

  • 4 Credits in English

  • 4 Credits in Religion

  • 3 1/2 Credits in Social Studies

  • 3 Credits in Science

  • 3 Credits in Mathematics

  • 2 Credits in one Foreign Language

  • 1 Credit in a Fine Art

  • 1 1/2 Credits in Physical Education

  • 1/2 Credit in Computers

  • 1/2 Credit in Health
